²The devil had already decided^[a] that Judas son of Simon Iscariot would betray Jesus. And during supper^(A) ³Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands and that he had come from God and was going to God,^(B) ⁴got up from supper, took off his outer robe, and tied a towel around himself.^(C)
